It's IP address I believe is either 10.0.1.122 or 123, but it is in the same subnet.

Because of Windows 7 EOL I updated it to Windows 10 - previously it had no issue connecting to the ESXi management IP of 10.0.1.2, however now it cannot contact it.

I have a "remote" PC that I use which is next to my server and switches that is just an old PC so that if need be I have serial connections. Note I gave all of that background to better explain my setup, but the issue is as follows. I configured my DNS and it's working for all intents and purposes, as is the AD, however, I just noticed that some of my PCs, despite resolving the correct IP address, cannot ping the ESXi management ip address. I have my CCNA R&S and I'm working on my MTA Server Administration and DNS seemed rather simple and straight forward - and it pretty much is. Now this seems to be when I started noticing I had a problem, when I configured this DNS. One of the VMs is a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 running DNS, ADDS as a DC. I use ESXi for various other VMs as well, however they're all set to the LAN network so that they must go through pfSense as well. Because of that my flow goes something like this ISP modem > ESXi pfSense server > switch > PCs and wireless. So just an overview, I have my ISP modem going to my ESXi server which is running pfSense, and then that server trunking multiple connections to my internal switch which I connect all of my PCs on as well as my mesh network. Hopefully this can help someone else save some time and the many headaches that it has caused me. So if you ever notice this issue, be sure to verify the load balancing.

Apparently my LAN was NIC teamed properly, however my Management Network had for some reason at some point been set to load balance via originating port ID rather than to route based on IP hash. As mentioned I had one line in for WAN and three out for LAN which were trunked. After realizing that it was something configuring improperly on the ESXi side (since everything was working on client and network side) I narrowed it down to something specifically related to the management network since each VM is working fine.
